Oinomori Akane (狼森 あかね) was a 2nd year member of the Aomori Takada badminton club.
Appearance[]
Akane has red eyes and long gray hair that covers her right eye and curls inward at the edges. She wears a gray sleeveless top with blue lines and a black skirt with a white line on the front and back. She also wears a dark and light color jersey top and legs.
Personality[]
Akane considers Yuika to be her rival and wanted to fight her again during the Inter High. Even after she lost, she supported Yuika by giving her advice on Ayano and cheering for her during her match. Unlike Anri, Akane was more accepting of her loss to Ayano, stating that she was always a challenger, and called Anri a defeatist for being pessimistic.
Playing Style[]
Akane is a speed oriented offensive player, using her excellent agility and momentum to her advantage. According to Yuika, Akane was the fastest player in the Inter High tournament, but she lost to Ayano due to being unable to read her opponent's shots fast enough. Akane states that she wasn't famous in the past like how Anri was from middle school, which suggests that Akane wasn't as good at badminton back then.
